Your TeachersKarin RensfeltKarin has been teaching yoga since 2002 and holds an internationally recognized Level II certification through the Iyengar Yoga Association of Canada. She has studied with many senior teachers from around the world and has been fortunate to study with the Iyengar family in Pune, India on multiple occassions. With training in everything from therapeutic work to more advanced asana practice, Karin is able to safely guide and accommodate students of various abilities and experience.
Karin is committed to her personal practice and ongoing learning as a forever student. She is friendly, playful and encouraging of her students while supporting their exploration of yoga. I would like to acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional unceded territories of the Tseshaht and the Hupacasath First Nations. Both nations are members of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nations, which consists of 14 nations located on Western Vancouver Island. Karin also holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy which has given her another lens into the importance of slowing down through self awareness and being in the present moment. Yoga is a wonderful way to help with that process. |
